2019: A Year of Gratitude

Jan 17, 2020

Since 1956, we have made it our goal to develop a culture that surrounds the idea of “home”. We are passionate about defining home as more than just four walls, rather, home is a place where you have people you can rely on when you need them.

Northwest Arkansas is a hub for charities doing great work within the community. Here’s a list of just a few who are doing great work, and organizations that we would encourage you to get involved with this year.

Children of Veterans Toy Drive

This December, we partnered with American Legion in giving children of veterans the Christmas they deserve by hosting a toy drive at all of our Northwest Arkansas locations. The image above doesn’t do justice to the palpable joy these children experienced as they received their gifts.

Find out how you can partner with them as well by visiting their website.

NWA Food Bank

This holiday season, we partnered with NWA Food Bank to donate 608 pounds of food to be distributed within the community to those in need. We will always be thankful for the local charities that allow us to partner with them.

Find out how you can get involved, too!

Single Parent Scholarship Fund

This past summer we decided to try and fill our company van full of donated school supplies bound for the NWA Single Parent Scholarship Fund, and we did! We partnered with local citizens and charities to make sure as many children as possible had what they needed to start the new school year.

Northwest Arkansas Metsquerade

For several years, our organization has been sponsoring and raising money to go towards researching IV Breast Cancer Treatment by partnering with Metavivor Research & Support, an organization that uses 100% of its donations towards stage four breast cancer research.

This one hits close to home, as one of our family members continues to battle stage four breast cancer. We are humbled to help serve their family and others by aiding this amazing organization!

Check out all the amazing work they’re doing by visiting their website.

Children’s Advocacy Center of Benton County

This summer we hosted a good-natured tennis tournament to raise money for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Benton County to help them in their endeavors to end child abuse in the area.

Find out how you can help end child abuse here.

Homes for Dogs

Everyone deserves a loving home, especially a man’s best friend! That’s why we partnered with Adopt-a-Pet last year and several local animal shelters to expedite the adoption of local shelter dogs. Helping adoptable dogs find a home is just another, fun way of bringing them home into the community.

Ronald McDonald House

We were fortunate enough to partner with Ronald McDonald House in 2019 by sponsoring a room so families with loved ones in the hospital have a place to stay as their family member undergoes their medical procedures.

Find out how you can locally get involved with them here.

We cannot express our gratitude enough to the community and all of our family here at Coldwell Banker Harris McHaney & Faucette for enabling us to be a part of making our community a home this past year and encouraging others to find a platform for their love of neighbor.
